Dr. Scott Dubrul
Dr. Scott Dubrul has been practicing chiropractic for 25 years in San Luis Obispo County. His practice is located in San Luis Obispo near Cal Poly University. In 2005, Dr. Dubrul became Wellness Certified through the International Chiropractic Association, allowing him to offer a true holistic approach to wellness.
Raised in Santa Margarita, CA, Dr. Dubrul attended California Polytechnic University studying Biological Sciences with a concentration in Pre-Medical Studies. He received his Doctorate in Chiropractic at Palmer Chiropractic College in Sunnyvale, CA in 1993, where he graduated Salutatorian and with honors for clinical excellence.
Cited for his community involvement, Dr. Dubrul heads up Chirofeed International for San Luis Obispo County — efforts that have helped feed, clothe and provide chiropractic care to hundreds of homeless people in the county.
His post-graduate work includes Advanced Muscle Palpation, Advanced Biostructural Correction and Bioenergetic Synchronous Technique. Dr. Dubrul enjoys surfing, golfing and competes in ultra-marathons. He is married to Julie Dubrul and is father to Quinn and Jack Dubrul.
Dr. Michael Sterling
Dr. Sterling was born and raised in Santa Maria, CA where he was an avid sports player. A significant football knee injury — requiring multiple surgeries and months of rehabilitation — sparked a lifelong passion for the medical field and a desire to provide the care he had received.
He earned his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a biomechanics concentration from CSU Bakersfield. After a mountain biking accident left him with prolonged pain that traditional medicine couldn't resolve, his first chiropractic adjustment changed everything — and led him to Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2023.
Dr. Sterling holds his Webster Certification for the assessment and adjustment of pregnant and postpartum women, and has trained extensively through the ICPA for the care of pediatrics and infants.
In 2024 he became certified in Quantum Neurology, emphasizing neurological rehabilitation for concussion, headaches, migraines, stroke deficits and similar conditions. Combined with the Neuro-Emotional Technique, this allows him to address both nervous-system dysfunction and the emotional components contributing to pain.
He has also completed coursework in FAKTR rehabilitation and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, expanding his ability to rehab injuries, strengthen muscles and balance the body's posture and wellbeing.
Outside chiropractic, Dr. Sterling is married to his wife Lauren, a physical therapist specializing in pelvic floor therapy. He loves mountain biking, intramural softball, hiking and game nights with family and friends.
